Facebook plans to pay users for viewing ads

The U.S. edition of the Wall Street Journal reports that the social network Facebook is considering the possibility of paying users for viewing advertisements, which led to the purchase of or interaction with content.

At the moment Facebook is discussing with companies Mastercard and Visa the possibility of developing cryptocurrencies that will get the users and use it to pay for goods and services in online stores.

The publication notes that the total investment may be around one billion dollars.

It is noted that if such an initiative succeeds, it could “to destroy the traditional and profitable e-Commerce system and will probably become the most common application of cryptocurrency”.
