Facebook hid from the American post about his friend’s death

American Karin Vainio on December 19 found that a few days ago was her friend. It turned out that he was sick, but Vainio did not know about it – Facebook for some reason did not show his posts. Vainio told this story on his page in the social network.

“My friend, with whom we chatted on the Internet for more than 15 years, died this weekend. We met on an old gaming forum, and continued to chat in Facebook. Not that he had much to post, but regularly like and comment. In life we met only once. But two months ago he said he is ready to shelter my family in Portland when we go visit.” – she wrote.

As reported to me by our mutual friend, recently he was put in the hospital, and then he died. I was in shock, because the tape I never saw. NEVER. I opened the page, looped it back and, of course, found the November post about the hospitalization. I this post never showed. I talked with other friends they had not seen the post from the hospital. – said the girl.

After a series of tweets, who received several hundred retweets, Karin Vainio began to address reporters, but she refused to communicate with them.

“The only thing I want is for representatives of the social networks understand the consequences of what had to endure me and my friends,” she wrote.

As told Vainio, she received a lot of feedback from strangers. Most wrote that it is impossible “to replace real relationships” communication on the Internet. As noted by others, Vainio can’t call another person that is not communicated outside of Facebook.
