Company Facebook announced on 16 October about buying a mobile app tbh. The app is little more than two months, but has already attracted several million users — mostly American students.

Tbh the app allows users to answer questions about your friends. For example: “Who’s the best guest at the party?”, “Whose tenacity is admired?”, “Who can become a poet?”

Under each question, the user sees a list of four names, taken from its contacts list. The one he chose gets the notification — something like “your persistence someone admired”. The application is anonymous, so who exactly thought so much about you, it is impossible to know.

In September tbh wrote on Techcrunch: the publication notes that, unlike other anonymous apps, it is not used to bullying people. All because tbh you cannot enter your text — only users answer questions proposed to them. So they are not held in tbh too much time, it has a limitation — within an hour you can not answer more than 12 questions.

The app appeared in the App Store in early August, since then users have answered a billion questions. tbh only available in three dozen States in the U.S. (and not available in Russia), but it’s been downloaded five million times. The daily audience of the application — 2.5 million people.

The amount for which Facebook bought tbh, was not disclosed. According to Techcrunch, it’s less than $ 100 million. The four founders of the app will go to work in Facebook, but will continue to develop tbh, using the infrastructure of the company.
