The pilot of the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas became the second after Kimi Raikkonen Finnish winner of the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi.
Bottas at the start of the race kept the lead without any problems and reached the finish line. The Finn’s teammate Lewis Hamilton several times approached to the distance of the attack, but Bottas instantly reacted and did not allow fighting for position.
Company pilots “Mercedes” on the podium was Sebastian Vettel, whose race in Abu Dhabi became one of the most boring in his career. The German quickly fell behind the leaders, but third place is not given to anyone.
Pilot “Williams” Felipe Massa in Abu Dhabi to officially put an end to a 16-year career in Formula 1. The Brazilian, known for his performances in the Ferrari racing series has 11 wins and 41 times on the podium.
Valtteri Bottas in Abu Dhabi, has issued a third victory in his career, and Mercedes extended its hegemony in the UAE to four years, winning 5 of 9 races in the country.
