Desperate diver decided to check the myth that sharks can smell blood at a distance equal to the Olympic pool. For this, he plunged into the pack of predators and cut himself with a knife wrist.
Video of the experiment starts with depicting the diver’s Skyler Thomas. The camera moves away and the viewer sees that he is surrounded by sharks somewhere in the waters of South Africa. Then he does the unthinkable: relieve wrist scuba and several times incision of his knife.
Surprisingly, sharks do not react to what is happening. The author of the video said that he was tired of the stupid stereotypes and pseudo-scientific facts, which all believe in the word. “Well, not a shark throw everything in the ocean and sent it to you,” he says.
Thomas said that for purity of experiment, he repeated it twice and each time spent in water for an hour.
