Ukraine has invited border guards and customs officers from Moldova to the checkpoint at the border with Transnistria, passing all the borders of the unrecognized Republic under control from chişinău, wrote journalist Yurii Butusov in Facebook.
“Ukraine made the first step for the practical liberation of the occupied by Russian army in Transnistria… Open a joint border crossing point “Kuchurgan”. Ukraine took the initiative and opened a checkpoint in their territory, she invited the Moldovan border guards and customs officers”, – he said.
The journalist recalled that to this day across the border with Transnistria, the movement of people and transport were beyond the control of Chisinau.
“For many years we have had this order of things, unrecognized by anyone in the world and was appointed by the Russian intelligence services of the puppet in Transnistria acted as a “state”, but in reality was just a hole in contraband for smuggling of goods into Ukraine, as well as served the Russian military base from which Russia carried out intelligence operations against Ukraine and Moldova”, – he stressed.
Butusov reminded that counterintelligence of SBU detained in Odessa region FSB officers, who came from Transnistria for recruitment in 2013-m “Transnistrian authorities” blackmailed Moldova, demanding from her the extension of the size of the occupied territory.
“After the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s government blocked the transfer of military goods to Transnistria through Ukraine and military activity in the occupied area instantly stopped. All demands to expand the boundaries of Transnistria ceased. However, the message exists. Because the Moldovan authorities are too weakened Russian influence and is not ready yet instantly cut off contact with the outside world for Transnistria”, – he said.
The journalist noted that the leadership of Ukraine has made several steps towards Moldova to return the occupied land under the control of the legitimate authorities.
“The opening of the border crossing “Kuchurgan” it is noteworthy that Moldova regains its sovereignty over the border. Now, regardless of the will of the Kremlin all the external borders of Transnistria are under the control of Chisinau. As soon as the border will take control of the joint Ukrainian-Moldovan border and customs posts of Moldova will be able to start to dictate the rules of the Russian gangsters. Thus, if the people and political elite of Moldova will fully close the illegal message, to take control of border crossing criminals, to collect all taxes and customs duties with export of goods, all the tools in their hands,” he added.
Butusov added that the liberation of Transnistria is of vital importance for Ukraine.

“It is necessary to eliminate the threat of Russian military bases and it’s necessary to eliminate illegal bandit zone – source organized crime, espionage, smuggling,” he concluded.
