Experts have warned about the risks of inflation in Ukraine

Inflation in 2017 will be at least 12%.

Inflation for the year to keep within 12% if not will increase energy prices.

This opinion was expressed by economic expert Vsevolod Stepaniuk, commenting on the forecast of the National Bank of the immutability of the forecast inflation to the end of the year.

“Inflation is not only domestic but also imported character. Therefore, if the prices of the world markets start to grow, it is automatically transferred to these groups of products. For example, if the price of grain will rise in the world, they will continue to grow in Ukraine, regardless of the rate of foreign exchange earnings…on the other hand, the growth of world prices for Ukrainian products can stabilize the hryvnia,” – said Vsevolod Stepanyuk.

According to experts, by year-end inflation to really withhold at 12% if not grow for example energy prices, utilities.

“If nothing changes, then I think that the real inflation to keep within 12%, but if there is again a rise in energy prices, the growth of prices for communal, I think that inflation is certainly higher”, – concluded Vsevolod Stepanyuk.

Recall that the national Bank has published the inflation report. Under the Central Bank expects the slowdown in inflation in the country until the end of the year, whereby it will be unambiguous.
