Experts have told how the product will continue to rise in price

As it turned out, the price of mushrooms do not plan to fall.

This opinion was expressed by Executive Director of the public organization “Economic discussion club” Oleg Pendzin.

“We have mushroom meat substitute. If it will grow in price, especially the chicken, will automatically increase the volume of supply on the market of the fungal mass and the price of it will be appropriate,” – said the expert.

According to him, we can expect that the cost of mushrooms in Ukraine will grow following the rise in price of meat, however, so that the mushrooms were cheaper meat products.

In this case O. Pendzin added that, as in the situation with the prices for any other products in Ukraine, the rise of fungi inhibits the falling purchasing power of the Ukrainians.

Recall that a record drought in the Kiev region in August led to a record increase in the prices of white mushroom. In Kiev, the white fungus on the market offers at a record high price 220 UAH/kg. While the mushroom is very small. The last few years in Ukraine were not “mushroom” due to the frequent droughts. The price of white mushroom in the beginning of the season last 2016 have reached the maximum price level is 120 UAH/kg.
