Ukrainian officials receive far more ordinary people.
The EU official salary and the average citizen differs on average from 3 to 6 times. For example, the salary of German Chancellor Angela Merkel is 18 388 euros per month. The average salary of a resident of Germany – 3 527 euros.
In France the former head of state Francois Hollande received 14 916 euros per month. The average salary of a French is 3 797 euros. This was stated by the coordinator of the “Taxes” civic platform “New Country” Paul Sebastianovich.
In Ukraine the difference between the salaries of officials and ordinary citizens in times more. As noted by the activist, with an average income of Ukrainian citizens in 7,2 thousand hryvnias, the first person in the country should not earn more than 40 000 UAH.
The expert also noted: the level of welfare in the country should not tied to the subsistence level or minimum wage and average wage.
Recall that after the scandal with millions of salaries of employees of the Ministry of justice in the Cabinet of Ministers has revised the procedure of remuneration to the employees. The maximum salary that can be paid to the executor for his hard work, should not exceed two living wages.
