Experts called the richest Ukrainians

The total wealth of the 100 richest Ukrainians over the past year increased 33% to $26.7 billion this is according to the rating, compiled by experts.

According to the rankings, almost none of the major Ukrainian businessmen have not yet returned to pre-crisis levels of assets. Meanwhile, President Petro Poroshenko managed to regain the status of the dollar billionaire, lost them in 2015.

Among the participants of the top ten ranking for the past year the state decreased only from the owners of the group “Privat” Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov. The reason for this was their loss of control over the “PrivatBank”.

By a wide margin in the ranking of the leading owner of the holding company SCM, Rinat Akhmetov. His status for the year increased by 68% and today is estimated at $6.9 billion

The top ten most wealthy Ukrainians were also Vadim Novinsky (1.2 billion), Petro Poroshenko (1 billion), Igor Kolomoisky (1 billion) and Gennadiy Bogolyubov (763 million), Dmytro Firtash (746 million), Yuriy Kosyuk (693 million), and Alexander and Galina Gerega (688 million).
