Traveler Levison wood became the first man in the world who managed to pass along the Nile. Within 9 months, he was able to overcome 6500 km under the scorching sun and visit many exotic countries. The best photos from this journey and the story of how it took place awaits you next.
Levison wood is a retired captain of the parachute regiment. He now works as a photojournalist.
Levison since the childhood was fond of biographies, famous Explorer, such as ed Stafford, and dreamed of someday becoming like them.
Levison made a name for himself, crossing the most dangerous areas on Earth. He was hitchhiking from England to India, crossing Afghanistan and Iraq. Traveled to Madagascar.
Wood’s parents themselves were avid travelers and took his son with him in all trips. When Levison barely turned 18, he first went into a solo hitchhiking journey. It was a 6-month trip through Africa.
Along the way, while traveling on the Nile, Levison joined by journalist Matthew Power. However, he couldn’t take the pressure and died of heat stroke.
