Former football player of Shakhtar and the national team of Ukraine Vyacheslav Shevchuk six months later, after a career started as a coach.
Shakhtar officially announced the appointment of Shevchuk to the post of chief coach of the club U-17. Seven-time champion of Ukraine became the latest former player of Shakhtar included in the club system.
“In December, announcing the completion of a career, I said I want to stay at Shakhtar and benefit the club as a mentor. The guide went with me and a few days ago, the Academy Director Jorge Raffo was asked to head the U-17 team.

Debut in his new position Vyacheslav Shevchuk will be able on September 23, when Shakhtar U-17 will play Happy with the “DYUSSH-15” (Kiev).
In addition Shevchuk to Shakhtar are other young professionals – Sergey Shyshchenko, Mykhailo Starostyak, Valery, Krivenco, Dmytro Shutkov, Igor Duljaj.
