21% of Ukrainians support the continuation of hostilities until the complete recovery of the Ukrainian authorities in the Donbass.
32% of respondents in favor of the cessation of hostilities and the recognition of the territories of Donbass occupied temporarily (freeze of the conflict – ed.). This claim of the sociological group Rating, citing the survey results.
24% of respondents – for giving these territories independence, or a Federal status of Ukraine, and 9% for the full their office.
21% of Ukrainians support the continuation of hostilities until the complete recovery of the Ukrainian authorities throughout the Donbass territorii.
“The idea of having an armed resolution of the conflict in the Donbas is not dominant in any of the macroregions of the country,” said the sociologists.
Only 9% of respondents said that they know very well the essence of the Minsk agreements. Another 49% said they are familiar with them superficially, heard about them in the media. Almost 40% of respondents do not familiar with the contents of the Minsk agreements.
14% believe that Ukraine should fully implement all the conditions in the Minsk agreements. 17% say that you need to get out of the negotiation process and make decisions without the participation of international mediators.
32% say that they need to renegotiate these agreements and to sign new agreements. A third could not answer this question.
“The more respondents are familiar with the essence of the agreements, the more clearly to Express their opinion about their future. Over the past few years increased the number of respondents who support the revision of the Minsk agreements and the signing of new,” said the sociologists.
The survey was conducted from 22 June to 5 July 2018 among 3200 respondents through interviews. The inaccuracy amounted to no more than 1.7%.
