Eurovision-2017: sanctions against Ukraine will be considered after the finals

This topic will not be on the agenda until completion of the competition .

“Everything that happened this year, we have to consider after the contest based on the rules (of the meeting, – Ed.). But also we must proceed from the fact that this year the situation is special, very complex,” added Executive producer of “Eurovision “, noting that sanctions can complicate the situation even more for the organizers of the competition.

As reported by Ukrainian news, 22 March the security Service of Ukraine refused to allow the performer to the contest, forbidding her entry for three years.

The organizers of “Eurovision-2017” suggested Samoilova sing remotely.

Russian “First channel” refused remote participation Samoilova in “Eurovision-2017”.
