Moscow planned to “pacify Ukraine” and turn it into a “polymerclay the colony”.
President Petro Poroshenko said that the victory of Euromaidan foiled Russia’s plans for the “pacification of Ukraine”.
This is stated in his address on the occasion of the day of heroes of Heavenly hundred.
“The victory of the revolution of dignity broke the long-cherished plans of Moscow to pacify Ukraine, gradually transforming it into polymerclay the colony and further expansion,” – said the President.
“Today we honor the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes – our brave compatriots who gave their lives for freedom and independence of Ukraine, for the right of his people to become an equal member of the community of free Nations, democratic principles.”, – said in his address.
“The dedication and sacrifice of the knights of independence aroused the Patriotic spirit of our people and showed everyone that there are values more expensive than even their own lives,” – said the President.
