EU sanctions against Russia extended for another six months

Sanctions against 149 people and 38 institutions include visa bans and the freezing of assets on the EU territory.

The Committee of permanent representatives of member countries of the Council of the European Union decided to extend sanctions against Russia for another six months.

In particular, the continued restrictive action against Crimean officials, members of terrorist organizations in ORDO and the inner circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The full text of the updated sanctions, including the names of persons and company names, will be available after publication in the Official journal of the EU.
