The EU has accused Russia of conducting an information war.
The Estonian Department of information published a Yearbook, in which Russia is accused of conducting an information war against the European Union and NATO.
According to the Agency, which is responsible for foreign intelligence, Russia uses not only public propaganda, but also a wide range of hidden assets.
“To pass disinformation to the Kremlin is widely used as controlled Russian – language media, and numerous fake profiles in social networks”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that Russia in the information war relies on a radical and populist political forces throughout Europe.
