The President of Turkey said he will leave the post immediately after allegations of his opponents will be at least something is confirmed.
If the Turkish opposition will prove the fact of corruption of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan or will find it a foreign Bank account, he is prepared voluntarily to resign, said the head of the Republic in response to the allegations by Chairman of main opposition Republican people’s party Kemal kılıçdaroğlu.
“If you have proof, please provide them. And I’ll answer. Otherwise, tell me that you slandered me and apologize. It may prove in some foreign Bank Tayyip Erdogan. If you do not prove him to go away from politics. And if you can prove it, then I will leave your post,” — said during his speech in Istanbul, Turkish TV channel TRT.
Previously, kılıçdaroğlu criticized in an address headed by Erdogan’s party of justice and development, which has blocked the parliamentary proceedings on account of the involvement of the sons of the Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim to the offshore companies.
