The Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine will remain many parishioners, said the Metropolitan of the new Church.

“We understand that Ukraine will continue to exist Russian Orthodox Church and many people stay there, but we have nothing against it… the Bishop or priest with the community should decide. If they at a General meeting decide they want to voluntarily join the newly established PCU, respectively, come to us and we accept them in our structure of a single PCU,” said Epiphany.
He also added that after Obyedinennogo Cathedral doors ptsu open to all Orthodox in Ukraine.
“We invite all the representatives who are now in the bosom of the Russian Orthodox Church to join an independent PCU. If to speak about a certain strategy it should be based on gospel principles of love, peace, understanding and brotherly respect,” he said.
In addition, Epiphanius said that he plans to invite the Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine after the granting of the Tomos.
“As far as I know, even after the signing of the agreement in the Phanar, even before the Unification Cathedral, the Patriarch Bartholomew directly stated that he has the desire again, for the second time, to visit Orthodox Christian Ukraine. And after Thomas I would like to make an invitation for His Holiness in the near future to visit Ukraine”, – said the Epiphany.
