British rescue workers helped free a whale caught in a fishing net near the coast of the city of Salcombe, Devon.
Very smart mammal swam up to one of the local courts and began to poke his nose in it. For the salvation of the animal caused the helicopter of the emergencies Ministry.
Published footage shows the process of liberation of the whale from the trap. The operation involved not only arriving by helicopter rescuers and coastguards, but also divers. The latter had to dive under the whale to cut the network.
“The whale was hungry and exhausted, but it’s very smart animals, so he helped us as best they could,” said one of the rescuers.
The operation to liberate the prisoner took more than an hour. In the course of complex procedure, the animal was not injured.
