Ellen page zombie drama “the Third wave”

Paws Zone Horror got a few fresh shots from the film “the Third wave” (The Third Wave), which recently changed its name to The Cured. But how to localize prettier? “Cured”, “Healed”, “Healing”? Anyway, the main reason to pay attention to this project is, of course, the actress Ellen page. Have girls, well-known for the films “Candy” and “Beginning,” some of their own special charm.

But Director David Frane — beginner. The “third wave” became his feature debut, and the idea of the film grew up, as usual, from short films. The seven-minute “First wave” (The First Wave) is a prequel for the film, which will soon be presented at the festival in Toronto.

The story is set after the world was hit by a pandemic virus that turned the infected into monsters like the risen dead. However, the cure has already been found. Humanity is trying to recover, but society is divided in half — those who were not infected, and those who succumbed to the virus, becoming aggressive animal. While in the background increases the activity of the terrorist movements that threaten once again to plunge the world into chaos.

Well, this approach to a zombie movie at least interesting, I think.

What is the role of the heroine, Ellen page, in all of this? It’s unclear, but the footage below, as if implying that she will fight for your family.

Anyway, except Paige, of the caste of the film includes Sam Keeley (“Monsters 2: Dark continent”), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (peaky blinders), Stuart Graham (“the Chronicles of Frankenstein”), Peter Campion (“Black holidays”), Amy De Bruin (“Scary tales”), Leslie Conroy (“Shelter”) and others.
