The Egyptian air force conducted a series of air attacks on terrorist camps in Libya.
Planes of the Egyptian air force on may 26, struck blows to positions of terrorists on Libyan territory near the city of Derna.
It is noted that the air strikes inflicted in the Eastern part of Libya. They were a response to organized terrorist attack in Egypt on Coptic Christians.
Earlier Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has declared its readiness to strike at the terrorists in the country and abroad.
“We will destroy any terrorist camps on the territory of Egypt, and beyond,” said the Egyptian leader.
He also stressed that terrorists are not only those who committed the attacks, but also those who support them and Finance.
“We need to punish States that support terrorism, and not try to take it,” stressed as-Sisi added that Egypt is fighting terrorism “on behalf of the whole world.”
