Ukrainian company “Tatra-Yug” has signed a contract for the supply of 15 trams in Alexandria (Egypt).
The Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman reported in Facebook.
“The Egyptians drive cars “Tatra-Yug”, made in Ukraine. The Ukrainians participated in the tender, where the reliability and quality of our products has won, ” he wrote, Groisman.
He recalled that in early 2017 the company, which has 24 years of experience in the manufacturing of carriages at Pivdenmash, won the tender, surpassing many large-scale manufacturers from Europe and Asia.
“In the near future 15 tram cars of our company will travel by flights from the Egyptian city of Alexandria. I sincerely congratulate “Tatra-Yug” an important achievement “, – said Groisman.
