Scientists will fill the buses formic acid.
Scientists from the Netherlands have developed a new ecological fuel based on formic acid. During testing experts fill your development buses.
Scientists plan to fill a new type of fuel, all city buses. Each transport will provide special trailer-reactor, which with the help of the reactants will be the conversion of formic acid into electricity.
It is expected that the first environmentally friendly bus will appear on the roads of the Netherlands this year.
The scientists said that the fuel on formic acid is much greener than gasoline. In addition, the substance also is more affordable than traditional fuels, formic acid is produced not only in insects, it contains the leaves of many plants, such as nettles.
Experts hope that the transition for all public transport on clean fuel will reduce the level of air pollution in major cities.
