Iran was rocked by a powerful earthquake, which caused a large number of injured and dead people.
According to preliminary data, in Iran 138 people were injured in the earthquake, reports the Chronicle.Info with reference to RIA Novosti .
“The number of injured has increased to 138. As for the dead, there is still no official statement on this subject is not” − has informed an Agency source.
Tremors were recorded in 204 kilometres North-East of Baghdad and 104 kilometres West of the Iranian city of Kermanshah. The earthquake lies at a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to media reports, the accident killed at least 16 people.
