A new part of Need for Speed will be the most ambitious and innovative project in the history of the series.
The company Electronic Arts (EA) is planning to once again restart the series Need for Speed. Plans for the coming year, the publisher said during a report to investors.
According to the representative of EA, a new part of Need for Speed will be the most ambitious and innovative project in the history of the series. The game is due out before the end of the financial year of the company, i.e. until 31 March 2018. It is assumed that the release could take place this autumn.
In addition, it was announced that a subsidiary of EA — BioWare Studio — is developing a completely new game not connected with formerly released earlier in the series, including Dragon Age and Mass Effect. It is noted that this will be a multiplayer action adventure, which is being negotiated in 2012. The release of the project it is also planned before the end of March 2018.
EA also denied the rumors about creating a Skate 4, but spoke about the upcoming shooter in the universe of Star wars Battlefront 2. They are just three studios — DICE, Motive and Criterion. The game will be a story campaign and new game modes.
At the moment in Need for Speed series has 23 games, the first part came out in 1994 and the last in the fall of 2015. The game is a reboot of the series, it reappeared tuning cars.
