Social media strongly reacted to the event.
Social networks caustically ridiculed the personal greeting by Russian President Vladimir Putin, a former KGB representative of the USSR Ministry of state security of the GDR Lazarus Matveeva, who in the years of Putin in Dresden was his head.
It is curious that Putin presented to the former head of the presidential watch, and a copy of the newspaper “Pravda”, released on the birthday Matveeva in 1927.
