Due to interview the dismissed chief bibliographer, Russian national library

Chief bibliographer of the Russian national library (RNB) Tatyana Shumilova received the order of dismissal.

According to Shumilova, she was summoned to the personnel Department, was awarded the order of dismissal and employment history and reported that by 18:00 she needs to finish his business and leave the NLR.

In early February, Shumilov was accused of gross violation of labor discipline — absenteeism. In the day, when Shumilova, according to the management, were not at work, she spoke at a press conference in “Rosbalt”, on plans for unification with the Russian state library (RSL).

“Rosbalt” was also published interviews Shumilova, in which she criticized the plans of the Association of libraries. Notification of absenteeism, as reported, was handed to the chief bibliographer soon after the interview.

Version Shumilova, she warned the leaders that don’t come to work the day of the press conference, however documented it fixed was not.

“The atmosphere was poisonous-friendly. I politely explained that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Then gave the order and the work book” — said Shumilova.
