In Warsaw declared three days of mourning.
The President of Poland Andrzej Duda declared national mourning in connection with the murder of the mayor of Gdansk Pavel Adamovich. He said this on Twitter on Thursday, January 17.
“In connection with the tragic death of Mr Pavel Adamovich, mayor of the city of Gdansk, I announced a national mourning on the territory of the Polish Republic at 17: 00 on 18 January 2019 to 19.00 January 19, 2019”, – wrote the tune.
The Polish President also asked everyone to properly respect the mourning.
Note that in Gdansk mourning was declared from Tuesday until the day of the funeral of the meeting on Saturday. In Warsaw declared three days of mourning.

It is known that the attack was 27-year-old man, who under the guise of a representative of the media freely came on the scene and caused the mayor and at least two stabbed in the heart. He was arrested on the spot, but managed to shout into the microphone that had previously been allegedly unjustly imprisoned for fault of the opposition party Civic platform, a member of which was Adamovic.
