The company has promised that will not change the jurisdiction of its assets.
DTEK, which belongs to businessman Rinat Akhmetov, reported loss of control over all their businesses to temporarily not controlled by Ukrainian authorities territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The separatists took control of these companies: the Komsomolets Donbassa mine, Mospinskoye UPP, PES-Energougol, Vostokenergo (Zuyevskaya TPP), Donetskoblenergo, Tehrempostavka, Sverdlovanthracite, Rovenkianthracite, Elektronaladka, the high-voltage network and DTEK Service.
According to the press service of the holding company, the Directors of all these companies have received notification of the need for re-registration in the so-called DNR and LNR and the beginning of the physical inventory.
“From this moment on DTEK not control these companies. The company considers unacceptable the requirement of our businesses, any form of pressure will not force the company to change the jurisdiction of its assets”, – stated in the message.
The holding emphasized that the work of these companies separately from the Ukrainian economy.
“The mines of Donbass there are no other coal markets, work outside the legal field of Ukraine entails serious legal consequences for all buyers of products, suppliers of equipment and materials for these enterprises. It actually means a stop of the enterprises”, – said the CEO of DTEK, Maxim Timchenko.
In fact the loss of control over enterprises, the company has addressed in law enforcement bodies of Ukraine, state fiscal service, tax authorities and state funds. To protect the interests of the Ukrainian and international legal field, DTEK has also attracted law firm.
