Injured woman after an accident, died, and the brothers left the scene without rendering help to the injured
In the night from Saturday to Sunday in the village of Izmail district of Oxalis there was a fatal accident.
Two brothers, one of which is used in the SBU, and the second in the Prosecutor’s office, knocked and moved the woman into his SUV Audi Q-7.
“Knocked down a woman after the accident died, and the brothers left the scene without rendering help to the victim. After the accident, the perpetrators tried to escape from the police, but after a chase was arrested. Both were drunk. The criminal proceedings are immediately taken away by the Prosecutor’s office. All the papers and records were seized from the police. Now it is a senior investigator of the Prosecutor’s office Sergei Kostenko. Business try to hush up all the forces”, — told us a source in office of public Prosecutor on condition of anonymity.
According to local media, the deceased is a resident of the village of Oxalis, 1967. The woman was discovered by local residents on the roadway, and then independently took her to Ismail the city hospital, where she died.
In a press-service of Prosecutor’s office officially commented on the information about accidents involving an employee of the Department.
“Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office investigates criminal proceedings on the fact of a traffic accident in the Izmail district (part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine). The investigation established that on the evening of 26 February in the village of Izmail district of Oxalis on the road was found the woman was immediately taken to a medical facility. Night from his injuries the victim died in hospital”, – noted in Department.
Are now appointed it is judicial-medical examination to determine the cause of death. In connection with the availability of information about possible involvement in an accident prosecutors conducting pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is entrusted to investigators of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region.
