The Minister of defence of Poland Anthony Macierewicz accused the President of the European Council and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk in a “diplomatic treason”.
As stated, Mazurewicz, Tusk on the position of the Polish Prime Minister allegedly cooperated with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with the purpose to harm the interests of Poland after the disaster of 2010, the Polish governmental plane near Russia’s Smolensk, which killed then-President Lech Kaczynski and 95 people, among them many representatives of the political leadership and public figures.
The Ministry of defence of Poland said that he had informed the war Department of the National Prosecutor’s office of Poland that Tusk suspects in “breach of trust in foreign relations.”
In the National Prosecutor’s office confirmed that they had received the message and, by law, has 30 days to decide whether to open an investigation.
In turn, Tusk rejected the accusations as a purely emotional and obsessive.
As reported on 13 March, the Polish Prosecutor’s office called Tusk for questioning in the case against former security officials.
