But, according to experts, in hot weather, these products can be deadly. This was stated by the correspondent of ГолосUA a gastroenterologist Miroslav Opryshko.
“Poisoning of dairy products, which stood even at room temperature (maximum storage temperature of +5) are quite common in the summer. But ice cream is considered to be a purely summer product, besides frozen, because most buyers just don’t see it as any threat. It is believed that in a cold environment, the bacteria do not breed, and indeed it is. But, alas, not all sellers, especially small stores and stalls correctly keep this delicacy. If the ice cream a little melted, and then was again placed in the freezer, it is potentially dangerous. This is because cooking this product is pasteurization of milk and cream, then mix with other ingredients and whisk. Then on the other should freeze for a few days and then products start to pack into portions. Therefore the experts recommend to abandon the purchase of milkshakes on the streets and in the stalls, — it is better to prepare this drink at home.
