Scientists have called the most important vitamin.

According to the results of Australian research experts came to the conclusion that the most important human sunlight, namely vitamin D, which plays a key role in many metabolic processes in the body.

As you know, “the sunshine vitamin” D provides power immunity. Many studies have shown that on the background of deficiency of vitamin D adults and children often suffer a variety of respiratory diseases. Without sunlight, the body is worse than struggling with chronic illnesses like allergies and bronchial asthma.

The lack of sunlight can be partly compensated by the fish, say Australian researchers. However, not all types of fish are able to fill the human need for vitamin D. It is only by sea fatty fish.

Meanwhile, a recent poll showed that only a quarter of Ukrainians regularly consume fish rich in PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acids omega-3, -6 and -9). Such species include halibut, Atlantic herring, cod liver, salmon.
