Doctors have called the most common cause of death of Ukrainians

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of mortality in Ukraine, especially among men.

1. Quit Smoking
Smoking is one of the main causes of cardiovascular diseases. Within 2 years after quitting tobacco significantly reduces the risk of coronary heart disease. And after 15 years risk of coronary heart disease is reduced to the level of nonsmokers. Passive Smoking is also harmful for heart health.

2. Be active
Regular physical activity reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Doctors recommend to dedicate at least 30 minutes of physical activity 5 times a week.
