MP from the opposition bloc Mikhail Dobkin threatens till 12 years of imprisonment.
In particular, this is stated in the public Prosecutor, which is at the disposal of the Ukrainian truth.
“Taking into account the fact that crimes which are incriminated to Dobkin, are serious and very serious and include the possibility of sentencing for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property, while at liberty Dobkin M. M. may abscond from the bodies of preliminary investigation and court”, – said the Prosecutor.
Because law enforcement officers believe that in order to avoid punishment Dobkin can destroy, hide or tamper with documentary evidence and intimidate witnesses, the Prosecutor’s office asked Parliament to give permission for the arrest Dobkin.
On 29 June the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada representation about consent on bringing to criminal responsibility, detention and arrest of MP from the opposition bloc Mikhail Dobkin.
The GPU said that Dobkin is suspected of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 364 of the criminal code.
In particular, the discernible signs of deliberate arrangement by group of persons for abuse of office and promoting fraud to seize 78 hectares of land Kharkiv, the regulatory cost of more than 220 million UAH.
