Diver Kvasha – athlete of the month in Ukraine

National Olympic Committee of Ukraine summed up the results of the first month of summer.

In June, the main achievement of Ukraine in Olympic sports has become a successful performance on home European championship in diving. Also, the NOC has identified the boxers ‘ success at the European Championships in Kharkiv and medal of men’s team epee fencing at the continental forum in Tbilisi.

Athlete of June in Ukraine recognized as an award winning diver Ilya Kvasha. Mentor athletes from Nikolaev Tatyana maryanko named the best coach of the past month.

Kvasha on the European championship in Kiev won three medals – Ukrainian became the champion of the continent in the pole meter springboard and three-meter springboard in individual and synchronous jumps together with Oleg Caladium won a silver medal dignity.

Kvasha in the third time voted the best athlete of the month version of the NOC of Ukraine. Previously, divers, water was celebrated in March 2008 and April 2009.

Recall, the best athlete in the January version of the NOC of Ukraine has become a biathlete Yulia Jim, in February, the monthly award was given to her colleague Olena Pidhrushna, in March, said Elena Kostevich (bullet shooting), in April was the best gymnast Oleg Vernaeve, and in may is not found the karate Ekaterina Curve.
