Discarded gadgets are a threat to humanity

The fact that waste from discarded electronic devices and electrical appliances, has reached a serious level.

In this regard, there is a big threat to human health and the environment. As told the experts, today China has the largest number of electronic waste in connection with the active work of the developers. Notably, virtually all East Asian countries demonstrate the excess of such “trash” with a significant increase from 2010 to 2015. On average, e-waste in 12 States actually grew by two-thirds, equivalent to 12.3 million tonnes.

Asians, in recent years, are more likely to change their gadgets and appliances. This observation is explained by the increase in per capita income and low production costs, so the repair devices are not popular. Only South Korea, Taiwan and Japan have created a recycling system. Scientists have warned of the danger of ejection devices, as it causes many health problems – infertility, development problems in children, impaired lung function, liver and kidney and mental health issues. Asia as a whole is the largest market of electronics and household appliances, which accounts for almost half of global sales by volume.

Note that the amount of waste generated exceeds the rating of the government because of their narrow definition. This should be a Wake-up call for politicians and consumers. For example, the smartphone is given more than half of the elements of the periodic table Medeleev.
