Deputies staged a fight at the opening session of the city Council of the Dnieper. Video

The deputies were unable to hold session for lack of quorum and jostling in the hall.

A representative of the “Public forces” blocked the rostrum, began the fight. Members of the city Council could not share the microphone on the podium and demanded to consider the first question of the resignation of the Secretary of the Dnipro Council Dmitry Mishalov and the Chairman of the budget Committee Artem Melnikova.

The head of the city Boris Filatov repeatedly urged the MPs to register and begin constructive work.

After breaking for another hour Filatov tried to open the session, but it failed for lack of quorum.

The mayor called the behavior of the members of the “farce and a disgrace to the whole country.”

At the same time, under the walls of city hall held a meeting.

The walls of the city Council gathered about 200 people. The main demand of the protesters was the resignation of the Secretary of the city Council Vyacheslav Mishalov and the fight against corruption.

At the rally people came in organized groups. After the session a few dozen audience began to break through the barrier of the police, who were on duty at city hall.

To the mayor pulled the police special forces. The second floor, where the session hall is closed to virtually all visitors. To break activists in the building failed.
