The Ukrainian authorities have no information about the state of health of the prisoner.
The Commissioner for human rights Lyudmila Denisova appealed to the Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova with the request to initiate the pardon of Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov, who was convicted in Russia for “terrorism”.
She wrote about this on his page in Facebook.
“Addressed to the Commissioner of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova with a request to promote the release of Oleg Sentsov from punishment for humanitarian reasons and to bring the matter to the President of the Russian Federation”, – said Denisov.
In her address she noted that the Ukrainian authorities have no information about the condition of Sentsov and it is a matter of deep concern.
We will remind, earlier the first Vice-speaker of Parliament and the representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite contact group on the Donbas Irina Gerashchenko reported that Sentsov will not ask Putin for pardon for the exchange.
