Dell recently bought Alienware, the brand, which is produced under a purely gaming products, is going to launch another brand, aimed specifically at gamers. It is called Light Gaming, and very soon the underneath will release several laptops.
According to preliminary data, the first mobile PC with the logo Light Gaming will go on sale in the first half of 2018, so there is a chance to see them at conferences CES and MWC in January and February respectively. It is likely the family of Light Gaming will include a model more affordable than the Alienware, which are very expensive against the background of current exchange rates. The production of Light Gaming Dell personally do not plan – it has already sent the proposal to OEMs, but the final decision on the choice of a partner was not accepted.
According to rumors, preference will be given to the Compal, as the company already collects most of the Dell laptops and Alienware, so it would be quite logical to cooperate with her. Also there is a chance that the orders will be entrusted to Pegatron and Wistron. According to preliminary data, the cost of Light Gaming laptops range from $800, while prices for ITC start at $1000.
