“Ukrposhta” has considerably raised the rates for delivery of letters and parcels.
National postal operator “Ukrposhta” has raised tariffs for delivery of written correspondence by 40% from 10 in September of this year.
In accordance with the decision of the National Commission, carrying out state regulation in the sphere of communications and Informatization (NCCIR), published in the newspaper “Uryadovy courier”, the tariffs for postal services increased in two stages: the first from September 10 this year, the second – from 1 January 2019.
From 10 September the tariffs for the forwarding of written correspondence increased by 40%, in particular, to the delivery of non-priority letters weighing up to 50g – 2 UAH.
The cost of delivery of parcels in Ukraine with an average weight of 2.5 kg will increase by 15%.
In the second phase on 1 January 2019, the tariff for sending a priority letter up to 50g will increase by 14% and the shipment of the parcel within Ukraine with an average weight of 2.5 kg which is 9%.
The tariff for sending shipments weighing 10 to 15 kg within the area is 45 UAH (VAT) in Ukraine – 51 UAH (including VAT). At the same time, the tariffs for the shipment of international mail and international parcels as well as fees for additional services when sending items “Ukrposhta Standard” will not change. Also “Ukrposhta” from September 10, simplifies the billing transfer and receiving payments in non-automated offices, introducing a fixed absolute a fee for each range of the amount of the transfer/payment.
