In June, we had to wonder at the news that the long promised sequel to cool horror-Thriller “Deep blue sea” with Thomas Jane is not simply forgotten, and is in active development. This project, however, large screens is not aimed (and sorry – I would love to see something like that in IMAX 3D), and removed it under the auspices of the cable channel SyFy, the quality of the pictures which not always is a delight.
However, the Director of the sequel Darin Scott and Matt Birman from Warner Bros. are very positive.
It’s a real sequel. We wanted to keep the spirit of “Deep blue sea” and to convey what the audience loved the first film.
Pretty standard statement for Directors every other remake/reboot/continuation. But “Deep blue sea 2” is already something to brag about – the film received an R rating for “violent scenes”. And its premiere, according to the latest information from SyFy, will take place in 2018.
Conservationist, Dr. misty Calhoun, accepts an invitation to consult on a top-secret project of millionaire Charles Durand. Calhoun was horrified to learn that for their experiments, the pharmaceutical company Duran uses unpredictable and very aggressive bull sharks. And soon the experiment turns into a disaster.
