Sale new small SUV the Volvo will start in 2018.
In the Internet appeared the first spy photos, giving an idea of the interior of the compact crossover Volvo XC40. Pictures published edition of Motor1.
Judging by the images, the crossover will get a fully digital dashboard and a large screen multimedia complex, as older SUV XC60 and XC90. Among other features of the interior ducts of a vertical form, made in the spirit of model S90/V90, and a sports steering wheel from the line R-Design.
The production version of the Volvo XC40 will appear in 2018. The crossover will be the first model of the Swedish brand, built on a new modular platform CMA, developed jointly with the Chinese company Geely.
The engine range will include three – and four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with turbocharging. In addition, the crossover will be the top-end modification with a hybrid power plant. Finally, in 2019 on the basis of the XC40 will be built first in the history of the Swedish brand electric car.
Production of cars will establish in Ghent, Belgium.
