Jaguar introduced the XF Sportbrake station wagon.
British automaker Jaguar showed a new version of its second generation XF, called the Sportbrake.
The new station wagon Jaguar XF Sportbrake is designed on the basis of a sedan XF. It will be manufactured at the castle Bromwich factory near Coventry, according to Motor1.
The vehicle length is 4 955 mm by 6 mm smaller than the predecessor. The wheelbase is increased by 51 mm. the model has a drag Coefficient of 0.29, the same as the sedan XF.
Minimum boot capacity is 565 liters, if you fold the seatbacks of the second row, the space of the cargo compartment will increase to 1 700 litres.
Universal will enter the market with five engines to choose from. The primary will be a two-liter Ingenium four in three variants of boosting: with one turbocharger it develops 163 or 180 HP, and with two 240 HP Points will be available turbodiesel V6 3.0. The only petrol motor — turboservice 250 HP
In the basic equipment Jaguar XF Sportbrake included led optics front and rear, the tailgate on the electric drive and pneumatic suspension.
On sale the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake will arrive in 2017 in trim levels Pure, Prestige, Portfolio, R-Sport and S. the Main competitors of new items will be Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and BMW 5 Series Touring.
