At the moment electric car, the prototype of which was shown in 2016, known as Mission E. the Concept car was equipped with two electric motors located on the front and rear axles. In sum, the units develop more than 600 horsepower, making Mission E Porsche is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
The production car will be available at least three versions. Base, medium, and high-end versions will be available with 402-, 536 – and 670-horsepower units, respectively. The front engine in any case will develop 215 HP, while the rear impact, depending on the version will be 322, or 429 horsepower. The units will operate in conjunction with two-stage transmission. In addition, the car will get an electronic differential lock at the rear axle.
The most powerful modification of the electric vehicle can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in less than three seconds, and its maximum speed is limited by electronics on a mark of 250 km per hour. The stock battery will last about 500 kilometers. To replenish the battery to 80% will be possible in just 20 minutes.
Porsche electric car will appear in 2019. According to preliminary data, the prices for a novelty will begin from 80 thousand dollars.
