Photos of Renault Megane RS Trophy-R.
As usual “charged” cars, hatchback Renault Megane RS Trophy-R was photographed while undergoing road testing at the Nurburgring. It is worth noting that the car was covered with a minimal amount of camouflage which indicates its imminent premiere.
What is hiding under the hood of the “evil” versions of the front-wheel drive hatchback at this time is not known. The “normal” Trophy is equipped with a 1.8-liter gasoline turbo engine with output of 296 HP and 400 Nm of torque, which is mated to a manual or robotized transmission.
Version Trophy-R will be different from the Megane RS in the first place a lower weight and some minor details. According to the manufacturer, the novelty will be able to beat the lap record at the Nurburgring for cars with front-wheel drive, which set Japanese Honda Civic Type R.
