SsangYong new Rexton revealed.
The company SsangYong has extended the first official photos of the SUV Rexton to the next generation.
Premiere of the flagship model will be held March 30 at the motor show in Seoul.
Overall length of new items is 4850 mm, width — 1920 millimeters, height — 1800 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2864 millimeters. The model received frame steel construction, which allowed to make a “Rexton” simultaneously stiffer and lighter (almost 50 pounds).
It is expected that the SUV will be offered with two-liter gasoline turbo engine capacity of 225 forces and an eight “automatic” and also with the 2.2 diesel, developing 181 power and is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission Mercedes-Benz. The model will be modifications both rear-and all-wheel drive.
The equipment of the model will include a system of prevention of frontal collisions, the tracking rows motion and circular video review, and an entertainment system with 9.2-inch display, Wi-Fi-enabled interfaces Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Sale “Rekstona” in South Korea will start as soon as possible after the premiere, and to other markets, the model gets to the end of this year.
