The action-fantasy “Brightness” (Bright) is another ambitious project of the Internet giant Netflix has acquired the first fully fledged trailer (until it was left with a teaser). Looks like another rehash of the story of the two unlikely cops-mates, a La “Lethal weapon” or “rush Hour”. Only here the companions of the hero will Smith is not just anybody, and Orc.
The role of the Orc, by the way, completely unrecognizable Joel Edgerton. Also in the presence of magical artifacts of great power, fantasy mafia and a certain social subtext about different races and stuff.
The story takes place in an alternate reality where orcs, elves and fairies coexist with humans since the beginning of time. Two cops, a man and an Orc, during a routine night patrol find themselves embroiled in a battle for the future of the entire known world. Battling hordes of enemies, partners need to find common ground and work together to protect the girl-elf and a forgotten relic that, in the wrong hands, can destroy everything.
The film will premiere on Netflix on 22 December 2017.
