Japanese launch trailer for Dark Souls Remastered.
The official release date for Dark Souls Remastered on may 25. However, for some reason on Steam the game started to sell in the night from 23 to 24 may. Even with this unexpected start in the re-release of Dark Souls already there are cheaters that do the “git gud” to innocent users.
The discussion started on the forum ResetEra. Someone under the name Loomies said as his friend joined a hostile phantom and showed some street magic. As a result, the victim’s head rose an egg-parasite, which is impossible to remove in the usual way.
The inhabitants ResetEra quickly figured out the culprit. It turns out that a Malcolm is streaming his adventures in Dark Souls Remastered. He invades other players using hacks inflates the characteristics of their characters, puts the worm, sends the curse, and so on. These changes are stored in save, and the game feels like a victim (not Malcolm!) cheat. The victim receives a “soft ban” — it is connected only to those players who also chase with a hacked savegame.
Based on discussion ResetEra, get rid of the “soft ban” is quite simple: you simply create another character and play with a new save. But, of course, be a shame if Malcolm (or his successor) will come to you in the middle or at the end of the passage, the progress will go down the drain.
Comment from Bandai Namco have not yet seen. But I can see the Japanese trailer for the launch of Dark Souls Remastered!
